I had read that this place has the best lobster in the world and it definitely does. THE BEST LOBSTER IN THE WORLD. We stayed for a week at the hotel and it has amazing service and over the top food. I truly recommend this place.

May 2023 A beautiful restaurant on the coastline. A Cantabrian restaurant in Isla, Spain. I don't know how exactly one would get here by car. I was with a tour group. Our route was a nice ride from the hotel to the ferry in Santander. Then the ferry ride whereby our bus then drove along a beautiful route to get to the restaurant. The service was fast, and the food delicious Of course, this area is known for seafood. We had a special prepared menu of spider and velvet crab, langoustine,.....with Baked Alaska (flamed) for dessert. Our tables had a view of the water, and the day was clear. An outstanding experience!

For lobsters, the place to go but I would assume any fisherman's pescado is perfect to try here. The appetizers are great to start the evening but with the lobster it becomes an incredible dinner. Grilled or boiled, the taste is unique. If there is still space, the souffle' is a specialty but we preferred la simpler coffee.

A lovely place with good service. You do have to book a table for lunch or dinner. One criticism is that there isn't much choice for dairy free foods. I have an intolerance to dairy which limited what I could eat. Although in defence of the hotel, many of Spain's restaurants are the same. Also, we had the souffle one evening. It says on the menu for 2 to share. It is huge and would feed 4 people. The description is incorrect as it says souffle but is, in fact, Baked Alaska. The fruit is tinned and the base is biscuits, not sponge. It is laced with rum and set alight at your table. I didn't manage to get a photo. We also had Chuleton that evening, which is also for 2 people. Be prepared for a BIG meal if you order this.

I ordered lobster bisque, but I was unfortunately not satisfied. The salmon salad was good and a big pottion. The local wine was great, and the fish soup was good. Unfortunately, they did not have fried anchovies.

Fantastic seafood from a 100 years old business. Lobsters and Seafood, just amazing quality and service, with a beautiful view of the beach, typically full of locals . A must

We had a great time here at the restaurant. Was a good crowd with a great atmosphere. Food was excellent and so was the staff. Shame we have to leave tomorrow, otherwise I would have gone back. Until next year then. Adios!

We had a wonderful lunch here before Easter. My wife and I had the 2 person seafood paella set lunch. It was fantastic, the food was perfect the wine was good and there were even items on the menu you kids would eat. We don't speak much Spanish, some of the staff knew a little English and were kind and patient enough that everything was ordered correctly and we had a nice family meal. My only regret was not taking pictures of the food, it was so nice it didn't last long. Such big portions for a very reasonable price too. 10 out of 10 for the location and view.
